BULLETIN / NEWSLETTER ANNOUNCEMENT
Bishop Leonard Fairley of our Kentucky Annual Conference has designated Sunday, February 23rd, as the day we are to collect the annual “Have A Heart For Seniors” Love Offering in United Methodist Churches across Kentucky. 100% of our offering goes to Wesley Village to provide charitable support for those residents receiving healthcare who have outlived their own financial resources. Please give generously as we show our love for those who have given so much to us. Wesley Village provides over $100,000 a year in Benevolent Care to residents in need. (Checks should be made payable to ‘insert your church name here’ designated for Wesley Village.)
BRIEF OFFERING INTRODUCTION
Today is our opportunity to take the Conference offering for residents in healthcare at Wesley Village Senior Living Community in Wilmore who have outlived their own financial resources. Wesley Village has provided over one million dollars in Benevolent Care over the years, while serving over 200 seniors through skilled nursing and specialized Alzheimer's care.
You will also find an envelope for your offering in the bulletin. Please make your checks payable to your local church with a memo to “Wesley Village.” If you didn't come prepared to give today, please bring your offering in the envelope next Sunday or follow the online instructions printed on your insert.
Psalm 71:9 reminds us, "Do not cut me off in the time of old age: do not forsake me when my strength fails." May the Lord bless you as we show our love and care for our senior friends at Wesley Village today!
If your sanctuary has projection capability, please consider following the above YouTube link and showing the 2-minute collage of pictures with music that “bring to life” the ministry of Wesley Village. “Celebrating Life in Christian Love” is our mission at Wesley Village and we believe this video will help show it best to your congregation!
