History Hour: "The Civil War"

The PBS award winning video series by Ken Burns, continues from "Early Causes" to "The Better Angels of Our Nature."(each part approx. 90 minutes). Free and open to the public.

Tuesday, March 9th, 1:15 pm

The Wesley Village Book Club

This month’s feature book:"When They Hanged the Fiddler" by Village resident Jess Wilson: a collection of short stories from the mountains of Eastern Kentucky with an introduction by Dr. Thomas D. Clark. Free and open to the public.

Tuesday, March 16th, 3:30 pm

Community Vespers

Message by long-time Good News Magazine editor, Dr. Jim Heidinger. Special music by Rose Evans, music associate at Wilmore Free Methodist. Free and open to the public.

Wednesday, March 17th, 1:15 pm

Classical Guitar Concert

Pastor and accomplished musician, Jonathan Crissman, performs a program of classical favorites plus an Irish jig or two for St. Patty’s Day! Free and open to the public.

Saturday, March 20th, 1:15 pm

The Firebird Chamber Ensemble

Under the direction of Asbury College flute professor, Kristy Kirsh, this local group of talented volunteer musicians are sure to delight. Free and open to the public.

Thursday, March 25th, 1:15 pm

Dr. Donald Zent Recital

Asbury College Professor of Piano, Dr. Donald Zent, performs highlights from his spring faculty recital. Free and open to the public.

Cabaret Night: "Hey Look Us Over!"

Lexington Singers bring their hottest show in town to our Wilmore stage in celebration of their 51st season. Musical arrangements by Jay Flippen. Refreshment served; please call 858-3865, ext 238, for reservations. Free and open to the public.

Sunday, March 28th, 1:15 pm

The Unity Youth Choir with Organ Prelude

The youth of Centenary United Methodist and Immanuel Baptist blend their voices in worship and praise. Prelude by noted Lexington organist, Rob Vanover. Free and open to the public.
